CBS News: Most Don’t Return Unwanted Gifts

CMB’s research on holiday shopping, gift giving, and post holiday returns shows that 59% of people keep unwanted gifts. The reasons why vary:

60% say they don’t want to upset the gift giver
51% think they may use the gift eventually
33% say it’s too much effort to return the gift
17% say they are too busy to return it.
