Despite the dramatic loss of wealth that the U.S. and other leading economies have suffered over the last few years, the fact remains that the top 10% of Americans control more than 70% of the wealth – and an even greater percentage of discretionary spending power.  While we all hope for a leveling off in wealth distribution and more for all, the reality of today and the near future is that marketing to the top is a critical strategy.  And not just for so-called “luxury” brands. 

As marketers, we are all trying to figure out how to survive today and how to position ourselves to thrive tomorrow. Insightful, truly useful information has never been more valuable.

Thus, we have partnered with AgencySacks, a leading luxury focused agency to develop The Affluence Collaborative, a joint venture designed to offer the most timely, targeted, thought-provoking, and useful research on the affluent and how they compare to the rest of the population that has ever been available.

What is the Affluence Collaborative?

The Affluence Collaborative will include members on a category exclusive basis and utilizes three core pillars to benefit members:

Research.  We will deliver four quarterly reports and two pulse studies exploring the attitudes and behaviors of affluent consumers and how they compare to the general population.

Thought Leadership.  We have assembled a group of top-notch thought leaders and practitioners that will help guide our research and deliver timely, proprietary white papers.

Community.  We are building an online community that allows high level peers at our member companies to interact, an ongoing TAC blog, and annual meeting to make valuable long term connections.
