Entry Level Market Research Analyst

General Description:  As a member of a project team, work closely with project managers and senior consultants to plan, execute and deliver market research projects. Those who flourish in this role have the opportunity to progress to either a Project Management or Analyst career path.

Requirements:

  • Minimum B.A. in related field/coursework, e.g., statistics, marketing or market research, business management, or other behavioral sciences
  • Any related experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project administration tasks (e.g. filing, mailings, copying)
  • Assist with project management (e.g. vendor management, maintenance of database)
  • Develop questionnaire drafts
  • Participate in qualitative and secondary research
  • Assist project managers with basic data analysis
  • Oversee data cleaning, formatting and proofing
  • Create deliverable templates, including formation of tables/graphs, proofreading, editing
  • Assist with deliverable reporting (e.g. reports, presentations, banner tables)

Computer Skills:

  • Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Basic knowledge in MS Access, SPSS, Wincross, Internet use

Other Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of market research methods
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with others
  • Analytical ability
