Independent audit verifies CMB meets the highest standards for information security best practices and controls
Boston, MA | June 25, 2015 – CMB today announced it has achieved ISO 27001 certification—a global security standard that sets out requirements for Information Security Management Systems. To achieve the certification, CMB demonstrated a systematic and ongoing approach to managing sensitive client and company information. CMB is now recognized as fully compliant with global security standards and has also established a formal program to maintain the certification.
“Information security has always been a top priority for CMB,” notes COO, Morgan Brady. “With this certification, our clients and partners can be assured that our standards for protecting the integrity and security of data are world class.”
As part of the certification process, CMB:
- Thoroughly evaluated its own information security risks, including the potential impact of identified threats and vulnerabilities
- Designed and implemented a comprehensive set of information security controls and other risk management measures to address security risks within its own corporate environment and with outside providers
- Implemented an overarching program to ensure information security controls meet the information security needs for both CMB and its customers on an ongoing basis
