Giving back to our communities that we work and live in has always been an important part of CMB. At CMB, we’ve established the Foundation for Charitable Giving, where we contribute one percent of our fiscal year operating income to the ITA Group Foundation. With those funds, we give back to organizations making an impact on our community.
Each year, we ask our colleagues to nominate organizations that are important to them. CMB focuses on four main categories that can make a substantial impact in the areas of Community, Health & Wellness, Human Services and Racial Equity. Each year CMB asks our employees to nominate organizations that they are both passionate about and are important to them. Team members nominate organizations that support many different, important causes to the areas in which we live and work, from Boston to nationwide.
We are happy to support 17 organizations this year, with 6 being new for CMB to support. While some organizations may fall under multiple categories, below is where we place them based on how our donation will be used.
As CMB looks ahead, we’re excited to continue giving back through the ITA Group Foundation, employee’s volunteer hours, and various fundraisers, such as Pied for Purpose, Light the Night, MREF’s Race Around the World, and more.
